The Practical Love Crisis Assessment Tool ("the Tool") is a psychoeducational companion application provided by Restore Counseling NJ ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.
This Tool is a psychoeducational support application designed for individuals who have completed the Practical Love: Suicide Awareness & Mandated Reporting Training. It helps users recognize warning signs and determine an appropriate response using the Three-Track System framework.
This Tool is NOT:
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, organization name (optional), and a password (stored in hashed form).
Assessment Data: When you use the crisis assessment tool, we store the assessment responses (track selected, indicator checkboxes, protective factors, notes) associated with your account. You should NOT enter any personally identifiable information (PII) about the person you are assessing.
Documentation Records: The documentation helper stores facts you enter (dates, times, observations, actions taken). Do not include full names, addresses, SSNs, or other PII. This system is not HIPAA-compliant.
AI Advisor Conversations: Messages sent to the AI Situation Advisor are processed by a third-party AI model to generate responses. These conversations may be temporarily processed but are not stored long-term by us. Do not share identifying details about real individuals.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted passwords, HTTPS connections, and access controls. However, this system is not HIPAA-compliant and should not be used to store protected health information (PHI). No system can guarantee absolute security.
Your account data and associated records are retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the information below.
The AI Situation Advisor uses a third-party AI service to process your messages and generate responses. These messages are sent securely and processed for the purpose of generating advice only. We recommend not including identifying information in your AI conversations.
